The Chinese manufacturer’s robot cleans glass edges and works with a portable station with a built-in battery.
A new window-cleaning robot
China’s ECOVACS introduced the WINBOT W2S PRO OMNI at IFA and announced its launch on 4 September 2026. The robot is designed to clean glass, including large windows and glass partitions.
How it works
TruEdge 2.0 uses four cleaning elements to reach edges and corners. The two-sided spray system has three nozzles on each side. WIN-SLAM 4.0 navigation helps the robot plan its route and work around obstacles.
- Up to 110 minutes from the portable station’s battery, according to the manufacturer.
- The robot remains connected to the station by an automatically retracting cable.
- The approximately 120 ml reservoir covers up to 75 m² of glass, according to ECOVACS.
- Sensors and a safety tether are provided; follow the manufacturer’s instructions when cleaning at height.
Price and availability
The manufacturer quoted a US launch list price of $599.99 for the OMNI version. This is a US-market reference from September 2026; pricing and availability in China must be checked separately.
